The Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) Church’s Children’s Ministries focuses on nurturing the faith of children from birth through age 14, guiding them toward a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Purpose
Children’s Ministries aims to lead children to Jesus, disciple them in daily faith practices, and integrate them into the church community. It emphasizes early spiritual training, as Ellen White noted its profound impact on character formation during the first seven years of life. The mission highlights overwhelming children with God’s love to inspire lifelong surrender to Christ.
Role
This ministry coordinates programs, recruits and equips leaders, advocates for children, and collaborates with Sabbath School for religious education. It offers inclusive, service-oriented activities that are safe, evangelistic, and leadership-building, while training adults to instill SDA beliefs and encourage outreach.
